How to fix Sims 3 CRC ERROR

The Sims series is a simulation series in which you Create any Sim you can imagine, give them unique personalities and share them with the world. Then bring your Sims into The Sims™ 3 and be inspired with endless creative possibilities, build a house take care of sims(people) and die. The series is very addicting . But in Sims 3 there is a bug that prevents you from installing the game(cracked or legit). After days of searching i found three fixes for this error. follow instructions below and the error will be fixed:

Method 1:
  • Defragment all of your drives by using windows defragmenter.
  • to defrag simply right click on your windows drive select Properties->Tools->Defrag.
  • After defrag restart your PC
  • Download CCleaner form here and run the registry cleanup.
  • Again restart and resume install, it should install fine otherwise try Method 2
Method 2:
  • Copy all the contents from Disk or mounted ISO and paste them into an empty drive.
  • Delete all the files from the install folder so that nothing can be over written.
  • Run the installer from the drive in which you copied.
  • This method should solve your CRC error if NOT then continue to method three.
Method 3:
  • This Method will surely solve your problem with the CRC error.
  • Run the installer normally from disk.
  • Wait until it start to give the crc error.
  • Take a note of the files on which he gives the error and hit IGNORE to all the files.
  • After completing the install DO NOT RUN THE GAME!.
  • Find the files in your game disk and copy them into the correct directory in your installed game folder (NOTE: The file directory must match and it should give and overwrite prompt.)
  • Wait for all the files to copy and restart your PC again.
  • Open Sims 3 and HAPPY SIMMING!
